Daniel
Auner

Virtuosity? A no-brainer

Daniel Auner's soulful, also ardent violin takes you straight to the highest register, he too is a master of balance and effortlessness. Virtuosity? A no-brainer. During the cadenza he interrupts himself with short pizzicati, and at the end of the final movement he flies skyward again.

Modlinger Symphonic Orchestra

chief conductor

Parallel to his work as a violinist, Daniel Auner is also internationally active as a conductor. In the municipality of Mödling, 16 km south of Vienna, he has been in charge of the artistic fortunes of the city's traditional symphony orchestra since 2019.

...after the break Rachmaninoff's "Symphonic Dances", his last completed work. Here, too, one must give the orchestra, but also its prudent conductor Daniel Auner, the highest acknowledgment. Conclusion: A memorable evening with successful experiments and storms of applause. It's nice that the MSO has also started a youth music education program with visits to rehearsals and concerts - that's how nurturing young people works.
